Liquid preparation of Meexe Sealant Xtreme varnish

Protect microcement in bathrooms and other damp areas with this two-component water-based polyurethane varnish. Meexe Sealant Xtreme stands out for its extraordinary chemical resistance, so it provides high water protection and strong surface hardness.

One of the advantages of Meexe Sealant Xtreme is its versatility. It is suitable for damp areas like bathrooms, but also for outdoor spaces, as it gives microcement great resistance to weather conditions. Matte, glossy or satin: choose the finish that best suits your style.

How to apply the Meexe Sealent Xtreme polyurethane water varnish for microcement

Apply two coats of Meexe Cover as a primer on the microcement, following the instructions on the technical sheet. Allow to dry for at least 12 hours after the second coat.

Complete the sealing process with two coats of Meexe Sealant Xtreme. It can be applied with a gun, brush or roller. Apply the varnish at a temperature between 15 and 30 ºC.

Allow each of the coats of our water-based polyurethane varnish for microcement to dry for a minimum of 12 hours and a maximum of 24 hours.

Sand the first coat of Meexe Sealant Xtreme with 400 grain sandpaper. It is not necessary to repeat the operation on the second coat.

Tips for maintaining the seal

Before wetting the surface, let the varnish dry for at least a week.

For basic surface maintenance, use our cleaners or use water and neutral pH soap.

Do not apply detergents for two weeks.

Avoid aggressive products such as bleach, hydrochloric acid or acetone.
